Marcel farms with mutton Merinos, Dorper sheep and Bonsmara cattle. He is the 3rd generation on the farm. The house on the farm was built before the Boer War with material that has been produced on the farm.
He loves nature and animals. A farmer must not exhaust the field and must avoid overgrazing. He ensures that he produce soft, carefully selected, top quality lamb to the public. The sheep should be healthy and well looked after, in doing so one can only succeed in producing the finest meat. He keeps his field maintained, he does his job and look after his farm. He makes provision for drought and so keeps less cattle and sheep.
Marcel takes pleasure into fixing things on the farm. Being a nature lover he and his wife did a lot of hiking trails like the Otter Trail, Tsitsikama trail and Fish River.
You should work wisely with your water and preserve your field, so you can leave it in a better condition for your descendants.
